Pontsho Bruce Mantlhakga, born 10 July 1992 in Polokwane, Limpopo Province. Matriculated at Hoërskool Noorderland in 2010 and completed Journalism Diploma at Cape Peninsula University of Technology (CPUT) in 2016.
Pontsho grew up playing football in the dusty fields of Lebowakgomo a township in Limpopo. His dream was to be a football superstar but life had other ideas. Since he didn't make it in football; he told himself he wants to remain in the football fraternity. During his years in high school, he always spoke about football games and his friends suggested that he should be a football commentator.
Pontsho loves music, he was a house DJ in high school, he played during school events for a year. He pursed his love for DJ'ing even at tertiary level playing at exclusive club venues. In 2014, he gave DJ'ing a break to focus on his journalism diploma.
In 2015, Pontsho decided to give acting a try. His first TV appearance was in April on Rhythm City as an extra playing a role of a security guard at Kilowatt. Later that year in September he appeared as a featured extra on Mzansi Magic's The Road as a journalist. Pontsho has an acting certificate obtained in December 2015.
Pontsho has worked at Capricorn FM as an intern (news reporter and compiler).
Although Pontsho is a football enthusiast, he also loves tennis. His favorite tennis player is Raphael Nadal.
His dream is to work in the UK for a media agency.
